Peter
Peter has been composing pretty much all his life. Choral composing has been a particular passion of his, the marrying of text with music. This has been helped by singing and conducting choirs. Church music is a major focus of his, building on our rich heritage.
His music is melodic with appealing harmonic construction. Most of his church music is for SATB with a range of accompaniments or a cappella. More than twenty of these have been professionally recorded and are available to view and listen from his website or popular streaming platforms. A growing number of these have been performed around the UK.
His love of the outdoors and nature has inspired him recently to write a number of vocal pieces on nature. You can check those out also on the website under 'nature in song'.
He is the choir director at Dundonald Church, Rayne's Park in London and one of the hymn writers at Jubilate.
