Sheena Phillips, award-winning composer and arranger. Particularly interested in folk music, ambient music, the natural world, aleatoric elements and great texts old or new. Also very interested in recording projects and sound art.
Sheena was born in London, studied maths at Cambridge and migrated into music. She has directed and/or written for a very wide range of community, church, college and professional choirs both in the UK and in the USA. She has recently moved to the USA but is eager to stay in touch with ensembles in the UK.
Published titles include with Boosey & Hawkes, Earthsongs, Multitude of Voyces, National Youth Choir of Scotland, Novello, Santa Barbara Music Press and Canasg Music (of which she is editor).
