She studied composition with Patrick Larley, Patrick Stamford and Chris Fox and has had choral works published by Banks Music Publications (Black is the Colour, The Cuckoo, Come Roving Sailor) and Multitude of Voyces (I sing of a Maiden).

Amy's works have been performed by numerous award-winning choral ensembles, and her upper voice piece "I Sing of a Maiden" was recently recorded and broadcast by the BBC Singers on Radio 3 in May 2021.
